Product Description

The function of the dowel is to position and fasten parts. It comes in two types: cylindrical and conical. Material Specifications

Steel	A very strong metal often processed with wire cutting machines for complex features. Generates significant heat requiring precautions.
Brass	High tensile strength and easy to machine cut, but requires slow cutting speed due to soft metal properties.

Thread: Screw with nut into shaft thread end should be moderately tight.
Rust Test: With 10% salt water test does not rust. Specific tolerances for surface imperfections.
